There was a time in my life when I was all about hip hop and rap (gangsta rap) that promoted only vulgarities and sin. Songs that had lyrics full of explicit sex, language and that would press in on my mind a false sense of satisfaction.

But there has come along one that at first I didn’t particularly care for (because of my history) but the more I give an ear shot to I become more impressed. I praise God for Lecrae and those who are like him. Today hip hop, rap, and pop are the dominate types of music that our teens are listening and its nice to know that there is a godly alternative to the world’s music that is known by its sinful passions.
