- God created the heavens and earth (Gen 1:1)
- God created man perfect (Gen 1:27)
- Man sinned (Gen 3:6-7)
- God is holy and demands us to be holy (Lev 11:44, 19:2, 20:7; 1 Peter 1:16)
- God is perfect and demands us to be perfect (Matthew 5:48)
- Man is not good (Romans 3:10-18, 23)
- Sin deserves punishment (2 Thessalonians 1:7b-9)
- Sin leads to death. (Romans 6:23a)
- Forgiveness requires bloodshed (Lev 17:11)
- Jesus was perfect (2 cor 5:21)
- Jesus shed His blood for the sacrifice of sins (Luke 22:20)
- Jesus was resurrected conquering death (1 Cor 15)
- Jesus bore all of our transgressions (Isaiah 53)
- Man responds by repenting and believing (Acts 2:37-38)
